BOOKCASES
Base Cabinets and Bookcases were constructed from Cabinet Grade Birch Plywood and Solid wood.
Base Cabinets have an adjustable shelf in each section and Book Case Shelves are adjustable on 1-1/2" increments
Top Molding was shop made to match existing molding in adjacent room.

Colorful Free Standing Bookcase Unit
Bookcase was designed by client in NYC. It is 12-1/4" deep x 42" Wide x 76-1/4" High and was constructed from 3/4" Cabinet grade Birch Plywood with solid wood (Maple) edge banding. Back is 1/4" Lauan Plywood. Legs are 6" High x 3" Wide. Finish is Satin wipe-on Polyurethane everywhere that is not painted. Sections vary in Height and Width. Doors were painted as were some sections (White, Yollow and Grey) and have European soft close hinges with push to open units. It was constructed so that it can be moved in two sections (third floor apt).

BUILT-IN Bookcase
Bookcase - Bookcase was constructed in shop and assembled on site. All Shelves are stationary but could be made adjustable if desired. Shelves are 11-3/4" Deep x 30" Long. Casewok and Shelves are 3/4" Cabinet Grade Birch Plywood and were primed and painted. Face frames are 3/4" x 1-1/2" Poplar which was primed and painted. This unit is installed in a reading porch and was designed to the customers requirements.

Crown Molding - This is the re-installed original Crown molding which was removed prior to installing the Bookcase.
It was recut to fit and painted to match the original trim color. All nail holes were filled and sanded and the joints between the Trim and the Bookcase as well as the Ceiling were caulked prior to painting. Left side of the Bookcase was cut out so that the Air conditiong vent was not blocked.

It was re-cut to fit and painted to match the original trim color. All nail holes were filled and sanded and the joints between the Trim and the Bookcase as well as the Floor were caulked prior to painting.
WALL HANGING BOOKCASE
BOOKCASE - The Bookcase was constructed from Birch Plywood with Birch Veneer Banding covering the Plywood Edges. The Shelves are 17-1/2" Deep ant the Top Shelf is 69" Long and the bottom shelf is 39" Long.. Finish is three coats of Semi Gloss Polyurethane. Side overhangs are approximately 3" wide.

BOOKCASE & Fireplace Surround - The Bookcase was constructed from Birch Plywood with Birch Veneer Banding covering the Plywood Edges. Base Cabinets are 24" Deep and 32" High The Shelves are 12-1/2" Deep. Finish is three coats of Semi Gloss White Latex Paint.

Base Cabinets - The Cabinets are 24" Deep x 32" High to the Top of the Counter. The Door Frames are made from 3/4' Solid Poplar and the Raised Panels are MDF.
They are mounted on 110 degree Adj European style hinges and overlay the Front of the Cabinet by 3/4". Each cabinet has a Fully adjustabel Shelf.
Fireplace Surround - The Side Units are constructed from 3/4" Thick Poplar and Are approximately 3" Deep x 15" Wide x 46" high. They have a Cap moulding installed inside the framework. The Mantle was site Built using Poplar and off the shelf molding material. The Top shelf is approximately 7" Deep. A 5-1/2" High Colonial moulding w Cap(to matche existing Base Trim) was installed under the Doors and Around the Fireplace Surround Uprights with all corners mitered.

BOOKCASE & STORAGE SEAT - The Bookcases and Seat Unit were constructed from Birch Plywood with Birch Veneer Banding covering the Plywood Edges. Base Cabinets are 20" Deep and 32" High The Shelves are 12-1/2" Deep. Finish is three coats of Semi Gloss White Latex Paint.

STORAGE SEAT - The Drawer Frames are made from 3/4' Solid Poplar and the Raised Panels are MDO. The Drawer Boxes are made from 1/2" Birch Plywood and are mounted on Full Extension Ball Bearing Slides and overlay the Front of the Cabinet by 3/4". The Units is 60+ Long x 18" Deep x 18" high and installed between the Base Cabinets.
